What's the difference between an Account and a Profile?

Accounts and profiles serve different purposes on our platform, and understanding the distinction is key to effectively using the platform.

What is an Account?

An account is your access point to the platform. It includes your login credentials (username and password) and personal or business information. When you create an account on ATDW, you’re registering your business as a user on the platform. Your account allows you to log in, manage settings, and access various features within ATDW, such as creating and managing profiles. The account holder is typically the business owner or someone authorised to manage the business's online presence.

What is a Profile?

A profile, on the other hand, is the specific listing or representation of your business or service on the platform. This is what potential customers see through our distribution network. A profile includes details like your business description, contact information, photos, services offered, and other relevant information. You can have multiple profiles under one account if your business offers different products or services that need to be listed separately.

In summary, your account is your key to access and manage your presence on the platform, while your profile is the detailed public-facing listing that showcases your business to potential visitors.
