For accommodation, capacity refers to the maximum number of people or items that your property can accommodate at one time. Understanding and accurately reporting capacity is crucial for managing bookings, ensuring guest comfort, and complying with safety regulations.
Providing this information on our platform helps potential customers assess whether your property can meet their needs, especially for larger groups or events.
Number of Rooms/sites for property (total)
The number of rooms refers to the total number of rooms or sites that can be booked individually within your accommodation. This includes hotel rooms, motel units, or individual sites in campgrounds. If you rent out a holiday house or a self-contained unit as a whole, you should enter '1' as the number of rooms.
Sleeping Capacity
Sleeping capacity refers to the total number of guests your property can accommodate overnight. This is the maximum number of people who can stay, based on the available beds and sleeping arrangements.
Calculate Sleeping Capacity
To calculate Sleeping Capacity, you'll need to include all sleeping options such as regular beds, sofa beds, pull-out couches, or any extra spaces used for sleeping. Ensure the number reflects the comfort and practicality of your space.
Example:
If you have 5 double rooms for 2 guests each, your sleeping capacity is 10.
If your Holiday House has 2 bedrooms for 2 guests each, plus a foldout couch that can accommodate an extra 2 guests, your sleeping capacity is 6.
