Updated over 4 months ago

Providing clear and accurate indicative pricing helps potential customers understand what to expect, making their decision to book your tour even easier. By offering a transparent view of your pricing, you not only set the right expectations but also enhance the appeal of your profile.

Prices

Your first step will be to nominate if fees apply. Use the checkbox to make a selection from the list provided.

  • Do Not Specify: Select if you are not ready to disclose price information

  • What's the cost of this tour: Select to provide price information. Additional fields will display below if this option is selected.

  • Customers can experience this tour for free: Select if your tour is offered free of charge for customers

Price Range

If you have selected 'What's the cost of this tour', you'll be prompted to enter pricing information for your tour.

  • Enter the minimum price for your tour in the 'From' field.

  • Enter the maximum price for your tour in the 'To' field.

As a guide, your Price Range should:

  • Be relevant only to the specific tour

  • Represent what most guests would pay under normal booking circumstances (i.e. your standard rate, not including special promotions or discounts)

Price Comment

Use the space provided to clarify pricing and any additional costs or conditions. These comments help customers understand the full pricing structure and ensure there are no surprises when booking. Here are a few examples of what you might include:

Example:

  • Seasonal Pricing: 'Rates increase during peak season (December to February). Lower rates apply in the off-season'

  • Group Discounts: 'Discount available for groups of 10 or more. Please contact the operator for special pricing.'

  • Additional Fees: 'A $10 per person fee applies for optional guided tours at certain stops.'

  • Cancellation Policy: 'Free cancellation up to 48 hours before the tour. A 50% fee applies for cancellations made within 48 hours.'

  • Children’s Pricing: 'Children under 5 tour for free.'

  • Multi-Day Discounts: 'Book multiple tours and receive a 10% discount on each additional tour.'

Children's Prices

Although it's optional, we recommend adding children's pricing.

Children have different prices: Select if you offer a special price for children, or if your tour is free for children. Once selected, additional pricing fields will appear below.

If fees apply for children, take a moment to enter a Price Range (by adding a From and To price that apply to children and add any Price Comments where relevant.

Example:

  • Family packages available for two adults and up to two children. Please see website for pricing.

  • Child rates apply to ages 3–12. Infants under 3 join free but must sit on a parent’s lap.

  • Discounted rates available for school groups. Please enquire for details.

If your tour is free for children, select the 'This tour is free for children' option.

Inclusions

Explaining what customers will receive for the price they pay in 50 words or less helps them understand the value of your tour and set clear expectations. Here are a few examples of helpful Inclusion statements:

Examples:

  • Price includes guided commentary, all national park entry fees, and a gourmet picnic lunch with locally sourced ingredients.

  • Tour price covers all equipment hire, safety briefings, and refreshments during the tour.

  • Price includes luxury coach transport, bottled water, and entry to all attractions listed in the itinerary.

Please don't use this space to describe specific equipment or experiences that are better suited to the tour description.
