Should I add a Map to my Attraction Profile?

Adding a map to your profile is a great way to help visitors easily navigate your attraction, plan their visit, and get a clear understanding of the layout and key features. It not only enhances the visitor experience by making it smoother and more enjoyable but also highlights the full range of experiences you offer, making your attraction even more appealing to potential visitors.


How to Add an Attraction Map

Before you begin, ensure you have a PDF copy of your map available and that the file is no larger than 5MB.

  1. Log In: Log in to ATDW

  2. Profiles: In the main menu, select 'PROFILES'

  3. Find Profile: Find the relevant profile and click the corresponding ‘UPDATE’ button.

  4. Map: In the sub menu, select 'Map'.

  5. Upload your Map: Drag and Drop your Map into the 'Upload map' section, or click the 'click to upload map' link to select the PDF file from your device.

  6. Submit for Review: Once complete, check your Profile Summary and then submit your profile for review. This step is crucial to ensure that your profile is reviewed, approved, and published, making your updated information visible to potential customers.


How to Delete or Remove an Attraction Map

  1. Log In: Log in to ATDW

  2. Profiles: In the main menu, select 'PROFILES'

  3. Find Profile: Find the relevant profile and click the corresponding ‘UPDATE’ button.

  4. Map: In the sub menu, select 'Map'.

  5. Delete Map: You will see your map in the 'Upload map' section. To delete your map, click on the cross icon to the right of your map. Your map will no longer be visible in this section.

  6. Submit for Review: Once complete, check your Profile Summary and then submit your profile for review. This step is crucial to ensure that your profile is reviewed, approved, and published, making your updated information visible to potential customers.


Frequently Asked Questions

Why can't I upload my Attraction Map?

If you're having troubles uploading your map, it might be because it does not meet the following requirements:

  • File Format: .pdf

  • File Size: Less than 5MB

  • File Quantity: Only one PDF map can be uploaded to your profile. If you need to include multiple maps, such as when your attraction spans two sites, make sure to combine them into a single PDF file before uploading.

When should I update my Attraction map?

You should update your attraction map whenever there are significant changes to the layout, new features or exhibits are added, or if any key areas or pathways have been altered.
