Uploading videos to your profile is a great way to showcase your event, providing potential attendees with a dynamic and engaging view of what your event has in store. Before uploading your videos, please refer to the Content Guidelines to ensure they meet all the requirements.

How to upload a Video to my Event Profile

Please note, the following process applies only to Event profiles, for all other profile types, see: Uploading Videos.

  1. Publish Your Video & Check Settings: Publish your video on either YouTube or Vimeo and ensure your privacy settings allow you to embed it on other digital platforms. Copy the URL for the video you're wanting to add to your Profile.

  2. Log In: Log in to ATDW

  3. Navigate to Profiles: In the main menu, select 'PROFILES'. Find the relevant profile and click the corresponding ‘UPDATE’ button.

  4. Optional Details: In the sub menu, select 'Optional Details'. Then go to the 'Videos' section on the page. Expand this section using the down arrow on the right.

  5. Upload your Videos: Paste the YouTube or Vimeo URL for the video (Step 1) and select 'Upload'. Your video you've just uploaded should appear.

  6. Rearrange your Videos: Distributor websites may only display a selection of videos for your profile. Ensure you're putting your best foot forward by arranging your videos into their preferred order. Simply click and drag them into place, remembering that the video that has the star in the top left, will be your hero video.

  7. Submit for Review: Once complete, check your Profile Summary and then submit your profile for review. This step is crucial to ensure that your profile is reviewed, approved, and published, making your updated information visible to potential customers.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why won't my Event Video upload or save?

One of the main reasons your video might not upload to our platform is due to the privacy settings on your YouTube or Vimeo account. These settings might be restricting access to the videos.

If a video is set to private, it won't be viewable when shared across our distribution network. To ensure a great experience for everyone viewing your profile, please check these settings. If you do not own the video, contact the owner to request they update the settings and seek their permission to use the video.
