How to Determine Wine Prices

When specifying your wine price range:

Price per glass only: When adding wine prices to your profile, please only use price per glass as this is typically more relevant to most casual diners.

Wines Only: Consider only the wine selections on your menu, not other beverages or cocktails.

Majority of your wine offering: Select the price range that reflects the majority of your wine offerings. Unless the majority of your offering is exclusive, rare or high-end wines, don't include these in your wine pricing.

Surcharges: Do not include additional fees, such as Public Holiday Surcharges, in your price calculations.

Wine Tastings or Specials: Do not include wine tasting prices or special deals or offers in your price range calculations.

When to update Wine Prices

You should update your wine prices whenever there are significant changes to your menu or pricing structure. Key times to make updates include:

Menu price changes: If you've adjusted the prices of your wine offerings, make sure these changes are reflected in your profile.

Seasonal wine lists: If your pricing varies with different wine selections each season, update the price range to reflect your current list.

New wine additions: When introducing new wines with different price points, review and update the price range accordingly.

Special promotions or offers: If long-term discounts or special wine promotions impact the prices, update the price range to reflect these changes.

Annual reviews: Consider reviewing your wine prices annually to ensure they remain accurate and competitive.
