Enhance your destination's visibility and set realistic expectations for your customers by specifying the type of journey available at your destination.

Destinations can select from one or more of the following journey categories:

Day Trip

Day Trips refer to itineraries crafted by Destination Marketing Organisations (DMOs). These itineraries are designed to provide visitors with a recommended plan for a one-day (or less) excursion, showcasing the best a destination has to offer within a limited timeframe.

Itinerary

Itineraries are comprehensive travel plans developed by DMOs. These guides outline a recommended journey for visitors, detailing a suggested route, key stops, and must-see attractions to help tourists make the most of their visit.

Great Walks

Great Walks are extended walking routes that take place over several days, often involving overnight stays. Published by official DMOs, these walks are typically recommended for groups and are designed to immerse participants in the natural beauty of the region, offering a multi-day adventure through some of the most scenic landscapes.

Trails

Trails are predefined routes intended for leisure activities, such as walking, hiking, or cycling. Examples include walking trails in national parks or designated paths that highlight the natural and cultural attractions of a region. Published by DMOs, these trails are designed to help visitors explore and enjoy the outdoors in a structured and enjoyable way.
