Understanding Organisation Types & User Permissions
Our platform grants different levels of access to users according to their organisation type. Each access level is outlined below.
Tourism Operators and Distributors
Tourism Operators and Distributors are known as 'Standard' users. Their access is designed for operational independence and security.

Regional and Local Tourism Organisations, Visitor Information Centres and other tourism organisations
Regional Tourism Organisations (RTOs) and Local Tourism Organisations (LTOs), Visitor Information Centres (VICs) and other tourism organisations curate Destination Information, Information Services and Journey profiles. They also play a vital role in advocating for ATDW and supporting our industry at the grassroots level.
RTOs, LTOs, Visitor Information Centres (VICs) and related tourism bodies manage their own spaces, but collaborate with state partners. We refer to this User Group as 'VIC/RTO/IND'.

State or Territory Tourism Organisations (STO)
STOs have broader responsibilities-STO administrators operate at a regional leadership level, supporting consistency and quality. They are instrumental in system innovation, testing and issue identification, as well as advocating for ATDW and supporting our industry.

At the highest level, ATDW Administrators (known as 'ADMIN') hold master access across the system. Administrators oversee all aspects of system functionality, ensuring the platform operates at peak effectiveness.
