ClassCover offers two versions of the availability and booking calendar on mobile:
Accessible Calendar β designed to improve visibility and support users with vision impairments, including colour blindness
Standard Calendar β the original calendar experience familiar to most ClassCover users
You can switch between these two views at any time using the Accessibility Settings in the app.
Please note: This feature is available for both iOS and Android users. Please ensure your ClassCover app is updated to the latest version to access this setting.
Why This Setting Exists
ClassCover is committed to building a platform that works for every teacher.
The Accessible Calendar was introduced to:
Improve navigation speed
Make bookings easier to read at a glance
Support accessibility, including for users with vision impairments
Giving users the option to switch between views ensures everyone can choose the experience that works best for them.
How to Change Your Calendar View
To Turn the Accessible Calendar OFF (Restore Original View)
Open the ClassCover mobile app.
Tap the menu icon (β°) in the top right corner.
Tap Settings.
Select Accessibility Settings.
Toggle Accessible Calendar to OFF.
The original calendar will load immediately β no restart required.
To Turn the Accessible Calendar ON
Follow the same steps above and toggle Accessible Calendar to ON.
Your calendar will update instantly.
Things to Know
Your selected calendar view is saved automatically
The setting does not reset between sessions or app updates
You can switch between views anytime
