Scheduling messages

Everyone likes to set and forget. However, when scheduling messages you need to keep some things in mind to make sure your texts are a success.

Things to note

Scheduling limit

SMS messages can be scheduled up to 4 months in advance. If you set a date beyond this limit, the message will not be sent.

Timezone accuracy

ClickSend uses your computer’s local timezone by default. If you’re scheduling messages to be sent to people in another location, you must make sure that you have the right timezone set in your ClickSend Dashboard.


How to access scheduling

You can schedule messages from Quick SMS and SMS Campaigns. However, scheduling is not available from Messenger at the moment.


Viewing scheduled messages

You can view all scheduled messages to manage, edit, or cancel them if needed.

To view your scheduled SMS:

  1. Go to SMS > History

  2. Filter message history via the dropdown.

  3. Or, use the date filter.

  4. You will see all messages scheduled for future delivery, along with their send times.


How to cancel scheduled messages

It’s easy to cancel scheduled messages.

  1. Go to SMS > History

  2. Hover over the scheduled message until a red button with an X appears.

  3. Click on the X to cancel.
