📖 Note: This article provides detailed information for all managers with ‘Manage training’ or ‘View Insights’ permissions, on how to view and interact with a Participant’s instance of a lab.

Opening and interacting with a Participant’s Lab

On the "Manage" mode homepage, in the Events table, click on the Courses[1] tab to get access to all courses created on the platform.

To edit a particular course, click on the row action[2] icon of the course, and click View[3]

Once you’re viewing the course, click the Insights[1] tab, as shown below.

From the Insights tab, you’ll need to select a participant or Group, using the Dropdown[2] in the top right of the screen.

Once the participant is selected[1], the screen will be populated with performance insights under performance tab. In order to view or interact with participant’s lab, click on the Progress[2] tab.

Under the Progress Tab, expand the module which has the lab part, and click View.

Once the lab has started, you can see all VMs within the lab. Connect to any VM (that have VDI connection enabled) by clicking the Connect button. You can shutdown the lab by clicking Shutdown button.

📖 Note: You can interact with a Lab without being subject to a lab duration limit, which means your usage of the lab will not be counted towards the maximum lab duration allocated to a Participant.

You will be able to open and interact with Participant’s Lab even if the Participant has not yet started the lab.

📖 Note for Creators: For VMs withing a lab to be connected via VDI, it must have VDI enabled for VMs inside that lab.
