An Inquisitive School Free Trial gives you access to all of Inquisitive for 90 days. Schools are only permitted to free trial Inquisitive once.

A School Free Trial account begins from the date of trial registration. You can add more teachers to your free trial at any point through the Manage Memberships button.

Anyone added has access to Inquisitive for the days remaining in the school’s 90-day free trial. The sooner you add teachers to the trial, the longer they will have free access to Inquisitive.

Admin(s) in a school free trial account will be sent a reminder email 15 days before the end of your trial.

If your school chooses to continue your access, you will be automatically billed for a one-year Inquisitive membership, for all the Teachers in your school account. You can choose to cancel anytime prior to the end of your trial period.

Teachers – Can access all of Inquisitive’s teaching and planning resources. Teachers in a school account can also be assigned Admin access.

Admins – Can add and manage teachers and admins and change payment details.
Admin access is free – at the end of your free trial, Admins in your school account who have not been assigned a Teacher Membership, can continue as Admins, and will not be charged a membership fee.

We advise having at least 2-3 admins per account.

On the People tab, you can see a summary of the memberships in the school account.

Manage Memberships – Add New Teacher memberships for the school account. You can add members to your school’s free trial account for free at any point within your 90-day trial. There is no limit to the number of teachers you can add. The earlier you add them to the trial, the longer they will have free access to Inquisitive. Please note that at the end of your free trial, your school account will be billed for the number of trial Teacher memberships in your account at that time.

Assign Memberships – The Assign button displays if you have unassigned Teacher memberships in your account. Simply select this button and add the email addresses of the teachers you would like to assign memberships to.

Add Admins - Click the ‘Add Admins’ button and provide the email addresses of anyone else you would like to add to the free trial account as an admin. Admins can help you manage the school account. We recommend that each school has at least 3 admins. Admin access is free – at the end of your free trial, admins in your school who do not have a Teacher Membership will not be charged a membership fee.

Assign/remove Admin and Teacher rights – Use the sliders to add or remove admin and teacher rights for people in your account.

Remove or Manage Existing Members – To remove a member from the account altogether, click on the Trash icon next to their name. If they had a Teacher Membership, this gives your school account a membership back that can now be reassigned to a new teacher.

Inquisitive charges one annual subscription fee per Teacher that will be charged at the end of your free trial period unless you cancel your subscription prior. On the Billing page, account admins can update the payment method in Plan Details and manage the Plan settings.

You will also see a ‘Go Whole School and Save’ button. When you click this button and add all of the teachers in your school to your account, your school will benefit from a 20% discount off the regular Inquisitive membership price, if you choose to move ahead with your paid subscription.

Inquisitive memberships can be paid for by credit card or invoice for payment by EFT. Please note, there is a $15 administration fee when paying by invoice.

Admins within the school account will receive an email notification, confirming the date in which your free trial will end and your paid annual subscription will start. You can also find this information within the Billing tab of your Account Settings.
