How do I assign materials to my students?
Step 1. Sign in to Inquisitive and find a lesson you would like to share with your students.
Step 2. Click Assign.
Step 3. Select All Activities or specific activities or stimulus to assign. Click Assign again.
Step 4. Your student sign in options depend on whether you have Added Students to your class:
A. YES I have added students:
Select the most suitable method of sign in for your class. Print Student Sign In cards and share these with your students. A QR code is generated with every sign in option and we recommend this method for ease of sign-in. Your students can now add their responses to lesson activities.
B. NO I have not added students:
Share the QR code or your Class Link and 4-digit code with your students. This will give students read-only access to the materials you have assigned, but they will not be able to add Student Responses.
If you would like to try the new Student Response feature you can do so during the Free Early Access Period by Adding Students to your class.
How do I manage/unassign?
To Unassign specific activities:
Uncheck individual activities.
Select Assign to confirm your selection.
To Unassign a lesson:
Click ‘Stop Accepting Responses’Assigned in the corner of the relevant lesson; or
In the ‘Assignments’ section, click the 3 vertical dots next to the lesson and click ‘Stop Accepting Responses’.
How do I see all the materials I’ve assigned in one place?
Go to the Assignments section to:
Download student responses
View and manage all your assigned materials
Print Student Sign In Cards.
