Setting The Hub as your HomePage on Google Chrome

Setting The Hub as your HomePage on Google Chrome is an easy way to ensure that you don't have to navigate to The Hub each time you want to use it.

Step 1: Install the Google New Tab Redirect Extension

You'll need to install the Google New Tab Redirect Extension.

Google 'New Tab Redirect Extension' and click on the link shown in the below gif. It should be a Google Chrome web link.

Once the page opens, click on the blue 'Add to Chrome' button, followed by 'Add Extension'.

Step 2:

You should have a 'welcome' page open up on a new tab. Here, you need to click on the 'Set Options' link at the top right of the screen.

Once you've clicked this, add in https://thehub.stafflink.com.au/ into the Redirect URL box, and tick the 'Always update tab, not redirect' box below the Redirect URL box.

Step 3: Select Homepage Settings

Next, open up a new tab and click on the three dots at the top right of your Google Chrome page. Then, navigate to Settings.

Search 'Home' in the search bar, and under the Appearance settings is the 'Show Home Button' option. Make sure this is toggled 'on', and https://thehub.stafflink.com.au/ is the chosen home page.

Step 4: Select New Tab in Settings

Search 'New Tab' in the search bar, and under the 'On Start-Up' settings, make sure it says 'New Tab Redirect is controlling this setting'.

Now, your homepage should always be The Hub! If you're having trouble following the above steps, take a look at our video tutorial below.
