If your record is not appearing in the correct view, this means that the record is not meeting the filter set for that view.

Understanding Filters

Keeping track of your records can be an arduous task, luckily there are many different filters that can be applied to help organize and streamline your records.

For example, records in the renewals view called 'All Expiries & Periodics' will only show records where there is no outcome in the Outcome Field, because there is a filter on that view (as per below) that limits the view to show only records with nothing in the Outcome Field.

To find your record, simply create a new grid view and either search through the view with no filters applied, or apply a filter that helps your narrow down your records to show the specific record you're looking for.

For example, if you know unique information that could be on that record, add a filter to the view that will show records with that unique information. The property address is a common choice of unique information to filter by.

Once you have found your record, you can then refer back to the filter on the view you're trying to work in, and check which fields are being used in the filter on that view and whether any of those filtered fields are preventing your record from appearing in your chosen view.
