Duplicate Records in Vacates Tab

If you have a duplicate record in your vacates tab, the likely cause is that you have changed the Outcome field in Renewals to 'Tenant Vacating' and then also submitted the 'Break Lease/Periodic Lease' Form. Both actions will create a vacates record.

Duplicate Vacates Record Created

To remove one of the records, first leave a comment on the record explaining that it is a duplicate record.

Next, update the status to 'Vacate Finalised, Archive Record' and the record will disappear from your view.

Old Vacates Record Not Finalised

Another possibility is that you have a historical Vacates record that has not been archived. You can tell whether the record is old or not based on the dates in the date fields, or by the revision history on the record. Simply update the status to 'Vacate Finalised, Archive Record' and the record will disappear from your view.
