Restoring Deleted Records in Airtable

From time to time, you may need to restore a record that has been accidentally deleted from your Airtable base. Airtable keeps a record of all deleted records for 7 days and here’s how you can retrieve them.

To restore deleted records in Airtable, navigate to the top right of your base where you will see a clock symbol.

Click on this clock symbol, which will open up the History page. Select ‘Trash’ and this will open up a list of all records deleted within the past 7 days.

You can click 'Restore' beside any of the deleted records to bring them back into your base.

Keep in mind that Airtable will only restore items deleted within the past 7 days. If the item has been deleted for longer than 7 days, it will not appear in the History page and unfortunately cannot be retrieved.

Conclusion

Accidentally deleting records in Airtable is not a problem as you can restore them in no time. Remember that Airtable will only keep a record of deleted items within the past 7 days, so make sure you act quickly if you need to retrieve any information.
