Creating A New Listings Record From Pipeline

If you want to create a new Listings record from Pipeline, there are certain steps that you must take. This article details the steps to take in order to create the Listings record from your Pipeline record.

In order to create a new Listings record, the status on your Pipeline record must be changed to 'Upcoming Listing', the Lead Status must be 'MA Received', and your Pipeline record must be linked to Properties. If you immediately updated the status to 'Online' without taking these steps, this will not create a Listings record.

The typical issue people find is that the Property Status field was changed to 'Online' straight away, without first setting it as 'Upcoming Listing', thus preventing the creation of a Listings record. To rectify this situation, you must first change your Pipeline record to 'Upcoming Listing' to create the record. After the record has been created, you can then change its status back to 'Online'. Be sure to check that the Lead Status is also 'MA Received' and the Pipeline record is linked to Properties as well, if you are still having issues creating a Listings record.
