Linking Tenancy Records to Vacates

It is important to link tenancy records to vacates in order to ensure that all the information is properly updated. Occasionally, you might run into an issue with this process due to the information in your CRM.

Your vacate date is a lookup field from your linked tenancy record. The information in your tenancy record comes from your CRM, so the issue is likely to be one of two things; either the vacate date is not listed in your CRM, or the tenancy is not linked to your vacates record.

Step 1: Check the CRM

To check these, first you can check your CRM for the vacate date. If it is not listed in your CRM, please update this accordingly.

For Property Me users, one important piece of information to note is that your vacate date should be inputted into the Move Out Date in Property Me only - we do not capture the break lease date or termination date in Property Me, so if that is where you have listed the move out date, it will not show in Airtable.

Step 2: Check the Link

To check your tenancy record is linked, simply open up your vacates record and scroll down to the link field called 'Vacating Tenancy'. There should be a linked record there named after the property address. If there is not, you will need to manually link the tenancy to the vacates record.
