Clearing a Previous Tenancy from Arrears Tab

If you have an old tenancy showing in your arrears tab, this likely means that there are still outstanding monies owed. This could be rent arrears, fees, or other debt.

Balancing the Tenants Ledger

To clear this tenancy from your arrears, you will need to balance their ledger. This means that any outstanding payments must be made and their ledger must be zero-balanced. Once this has been completed, you will then need to archive the tenancy in your CRM.

You may need to contact the tenant about the payment of the outstanding monies if there is an amount to be paid. If the tenant has already paid in full, you can contact your accounts department to confirm this and jump to the next step of archiving the tenancy.

Archiving a Tenancy

Once the tenancy ledger is balanced, you can proceed to archiving the tenancy. Archiving a tenancy will remove the tenancy record from your Arrears tab.
