1) The Hub is asking me to setup / scan a 2FA code

2) I have already setup 2FA for The Hub but it doesn't work

1) The Hub is asking me to setup / scan a 2FA code:

If your Hub is asking you to setup 2FA, please check if you have the Google or Microsoft Authenticator downloaded as an app on your phone.

* Please make sure you delete any codes you have for TheHub there already. If you have multiple codes for the same program you may run into issues.

Next open your authenticator app and add an account and choose 'Scan a QR code'.

Two Factor Authentication

This will allow you to scan the QR code on The Hub and generate a 6 digit code. Enter this code into The Hub and your 2FA will be all setup.

Please don't delete your authenticator app or your code, otherwise an admin in your Hub will have to reset it for you.

2) I have already setup 2FA for The Hub but it doesn't work

If you already have 2FA setup for your Hub and it is asking you for a code, please open your authenticator app on your phone. Most people use Google Authenticator or Microsoft Authenticator.

  • Please make sure you are not entering a code from another program i.e. Rex.

  • The code should look something like The Hub: YOUR_EMAIL. Please enter this code into The Hub.

  • If you have more than 1 code for The Hub you might run into issues. Please delete the old codes.

  • Please make sure your phone's timezone is 'Set Automatically'. You can look for this under Date & Time within the settings app of your phone

If you cannot find your code or you don't have either of these apps you will need to get an admin in your Hub to reset your 2FA for you.

Your admin can find this page in your Hubs member management section.

Once this is done please you will be prompted to setup a new code on your Hub. Please see section 1) The Hub is asking me to setup / scan a 2FA code.

If you have tried all of these solutions. Please don't hesitate to open a chat with our team and ask for further help.

Thank you,
