Why Am I Seeing This?

When this message shows up in lots of places at once (for example across Applications, Listings, or workflow cards), it usually means something behind the scenes isn’t loading properly.

The most common reasons are:

  • Embedded content isn’t loading correctly

  • A HubDash card can’t fetch its data

  • There’s a sync issue with an external system

  • Your HubDash access or setup needs adjusting

Most of the time, this isn’t caused by anything you personally did.

Quick Check: Is Embedded Content the Issue?

Some websites don’t allow themselves to be embedded inside other platforms. When HubDash tries to embed one of these sites, it can cause errors.

What to try:

For Home Links

  1. Edit the Home Link

  2. Turn Embedded OFF

  3. Save Card and refresh the page

For Sections

  1. Edit the section

  2. Turn Embed Section OFF

  3. Save and reload HubDash

✅ If the errors disappear, the embedded website likely doesn’t support embedding.

Using HubDash Layouts? Check the Cards

If you’re working in HubDash and seeing the error across lots of cards:

  • Unlock your HubDash layout (if you can)

  • Check whether individual cards are loading or failing

If multiple cards fail at the same time, it usually means a data source issue, not a layout problem.

Data Sync & Integration Issues (Very Common)

Many HubDash cards pull information from other systems and tools. If any of those systems aren’t syncing properly, HubDash can’t display the data.

This can affect cards connected to systems like:

  • Property management platforms

  • CRMs

  • Listings or workflow tools

When those connections fail, you’ll often see the “An error occurred” message.

Why the Message Tells You to Contact Support

When this error keeps showing up everywhere, it usually means:

  • It’s a backend issue

  • It’s not something you can fix locally

  • Access, permissions, or sync health needs checking

That’s why the message asks you to notify Stafflink Support.

✅ Best Way to Fix It

If the error:

  • Appears across multiple HubDash cards or sections

  • Keeps happening after you’ve turned off embedding

  • Affects data‑driven cards like Applications or Listings

👉 Contact your Admin or Customer Success Manager (CSM)

They can:

  • Check your HubDash setup

  • Confirm permissions and access

  • Review integrations and data sync

  • Escalate to Stafflink Support if needed

This is the fastest way to get things fully working again.

In Short

  • This error usually means a data or embedding issue

  • You can quickly test by turning off embedding

  • Widespread errors usually need admin or support help

  • Best next step: contact your Admin or CSM to review your HubDash access
