Releasing answers allows students to see right/wrong marks, model answers, and any written feedback you have added. Written feedback is visible to the student at any time once added; releasing answers is a separate action that controls visibility of marks and model answers.
Note: Releasing answers and releasing a Session are two different actions. If the Session is hidden, students cannot access it regardless of whether answers have been released. See Release and hide Sessions.

Note: What you see on a student's worksheet in the Markbook is not the same as what the student sees. Right and wrong marks are visible to you before they are released to the student.
Release answers to an individual student
Option 1: Open the student's Session and click the release option at the bottom of their worksheet.
Option 2: In the Markbook, click the student's progress icon for the relevant Session, then select the option to release answers.
You can also request resubmission from the same locations if you want the student to revise their work before seeing the answers.
Release to the whole Class
In the Markbook, locate the Class controls menu for the relevant Session and Class. Click the (...) button and select Release all answers.
Note: This only affects submitted and collected work. Answers will not be released on work that is still in progress or has not been opened.
Release to a select group of students
Use the Markbook's filter tools to narrow the Class down to a specific group, then use the Class controls menu to release answers to that filtered selection. See Use Filters for better control and insight in the Markbook.
