Single Sign-On (SSO) allows teachers and students to log in to Stile using their existing school-managed email address and password. This gives your IT team control over account names and passwords, reducing login issues at the start of term, after school breaks, or before exams. SSO is included in the cost of your Stile subscription.
SSO does not delete or replace existing Stile accounts, so any existing student work will be preserved.
Already have SSO set up?
The following Australian groups have SSO pre-configured and do not need to complete this process:
Victorian DET teachers
NSW DoE teachers and students
SA DfE teachers and students
Education Queensland (EQ) and NTSchools teachers and students can use the Sign in with Microsoft button on the Stile login page.
Supported Identity Providers
Stile supports any SAML Identity Provider, most commonly Microsoft Azure/Entra AD, Google G Suite, or Cloudwork/StudentNet.
How to get started
Email the Stile Support team (addresses listed below) and include:
The Identity Provider (IdP) software your school uses;
All email domains your school uses (e.g. @yourschool.edu.au, @students.yourschool.edu.au).
Stile Support will send you a setup guide tailored to your IdP, along with instructions for testing the integration once it is configured.
