This not only enhances your profile but also boosts Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) and user engagement, encouraging visitors to spend more time exploring what you have to offer.


Video Requirements

To ensure your Profile meets our Content Guidelines for Video, and provides the best possible experience for customers, it’s important that each video you upload meets the requirements set out below.

Video Duration

For optimum engagement, videos should be between 30 - 90 seconds in length

Advertisements

Please do not upload advertisements

Business Accounts

Videos must be uploaded from business accounts.


How to upload a Video

Please note, the following steps apply to all profile types, except Events.

  1. Check Guidelines: Before uploading your videos, please refer to the Video Requirements.

  2. Publish Your Video & Check Settings: Publish your video on either YouTube or Vimeo and ensure your privacy settings allow you to embed it on other digital platforms.

  3. URL: Copy the URL for the video you're wanting to add to your Profile.

  4. Log In: Log in to ATDW

  5. Profiles: In the main menu, select 'PROFILES'

  6. Select Your Profile: Find the relevant profile and click the corresponding ‘UPDATE’ button.

  7. Videos: In the sub menu, select 'Videos'.

  8. Add URL: Using the space provided, paste the YouTube or Vimeo URL for your video and select 'Upload'. The uploaded video should appear.

  9. Prioritise: Distributor websites may only display a selection of videos for your profile. Ensure you're putting your best foot forward by arranging your videos into their preferred order. Simply click and drag them into place, remembering that the video that has the star in the top left, will be your hero video.

  10. Submit for Review: Once complete, check your Profile Summary and then submit your profile for review. This step is crucial to ensure that your profile is reviewed, approved, and published, making your updated information visible to potential customers.


How to Add Event Videos

Please note, the following steps apply only to Events. For all other profile types, see: How to Upload Videos

  1. Publish Your Video & Check Settings: Publish your video on either YouTube or Vimeo and ensure your privacy settings allow you to embed it on other digital platforms.

  2. URL: Copy the URL for the video you're wanting to add to your Profile.

  3. Log In: Log in to ATDW

  4. Profiles: In the main menu, select 'PROFILES'

  5. Select Your Profile: Find the relevant profile and click the corresponding ‘UPDATE’ button.

  6. Optional Details: In the sub menu, select 'Optional Details'.

  7. Videos: Go to the 'Videos' section on the page. Expand this section using the down arrow on the right.

  8. Upload Videos: Paste the YouTube or Vimeo URL for the video (Step 1) and select 'Upload'. Your video you've just uploaded should appear.

  9. Prioritise: Distributor websites may only display a selection of videos for your profile. Ensure you're putting your best foot forward by arranging your videos into their preferred order. Frequently Asked Questions

Why won't my video upload or save?

One of the main reasons your video might not upload to our platform is due to the privacy settings on your YouTube or Vimeo account. These settings might be restricting access to the videos.

If a video is set to private, it won't be viewable when shared across our distribution network. To ensure a great experience for everyone viewing your profile, please check these settings. If you do not own the video, contact the owner to request they update the settings and seek their permission to use the video.

How many videos can I upload?

Profiles can have anywhere up to 10 high-quality videos.

What is a Hero Video?

Your hero video is a striking, high-quality video that takes centre-stage at the top of your profile. It's your first opportunity to grab the attention of potential customers and showcase the unique appeal of your business or destination. A compelling hero video not only sets the tone but also invites viewers to dive deeper into what you offer, making it a powerful tool for creating a lasting first impression and driving engagement.

Do I need to upload my video to YouTube or Vimeo first?

Yes, videos must first be uploaded to either YouTube or Vimeo.

Can I use videos from Customers?

If you can gain explicit permission from the copyright holder, in this case the customer and the videos are publicly available on YouTube or Vimeo, then you can use videos from customers.
