By offering a transparent view of your pricing, you not only set the right expectations but also enhance the appeal of your profile.

What is Indicative Pricing?

Indicative Pricing is the range of rates you typically offer for your transportation services. This pricing should reflect what most customers would pay under normal circumstances when booking directly with you. . It’s all about giving your potential customers a realistic understanding of the cost of their transport.

What should indicative rates cover?

Your indicative rates should cover:

- Different types of services

- Seasonal variations

- Peak and off-peak variations

- Your standard rate structures - not special promotions or discounts


How to update Indicative Prices for Transport

  1. Log In: Log in to ATDW

  2. Profiles: In the main menu, select 'PROFILES'

  3. Find Profile: Find the relevant profile and click the corresponding ‘UPDATE’ button.

  4. Indicative Prices: In the sub menu, select 'Indicative Prices'.

  5. Do Prices Apply? Nominate whether customers can book for free OR whether fees apply by clicking the relevant checkbox.

  6. Enter the Lowest and Highest Rates: Enter the minimum and maximum rates you charge for your transport services. This range should be representative of what most customers would pay under normal booking circumstances. Please see What should Indicative Rates cover?

  7. Enter any Comments: The comment field is your space to provide any additional information related to your pricing in 50 words or less (See: Indicative Rate Comment).

  8. Submit for Review: Once complete, check your Profile Summary and then submit your profile for review. This step is crucial to ensure that your profile is reviewed, approved, and published, making your updated information visible to potential customers.


What is the Indicative Rate Comment?

The indicative rate comment is your space to add any extra details about your indicative rates that might be helpful for customers, including seasonal rate variations, special services, minimum fare requirements and more.

What to include in my Indicative Rate Comment?

Seasonal Rate Variations: Indicate if rates change during peak seasons, holidays, or special events.

For example:

  • Higher rates apply during peak tourist season (December to February) and public holidays

Distance-Based Charges: Mention if there are different rates based on distance travelled.

For example:

  • Rates are calculated per kilometre after the first 10 km.

Extra Passenger Fees: Include details about any additional charges for extra passengers.

For example:

  • Additional passengers are charged at $10.00 per person.

Baggage Fees: If there are extra charges for luggage, specify those.

For example:

  • Large luggage items incur an additional fee of $5.00 per item.

Waiting Time Charges: Explain any fees related to waiting times, such as for airport pickups or delays.

For example:

  • Waiting time charges of $15.00 per hour apply after the first 30 minutes.

Special Services: Mention any additional costs for special services, such as child seats or pet transport.

For example:

  • Child seat available for $10.00 per trip. Pet transport allowed for an additional $15.00.

Minimum Fare Requirements: If there is a minimum charge for short trips, include this information.

For example:

  • Minimum fare of $20.00 applies to all short trips within the city limits.

Booking Conditions: Note any specific booking conditions, such as advance booking requirements or deposit policies.

For example:

  • Advance booking required 24 hours before pick-up. A deposit of 20% is required at the time of booking.
