Can businesses outside Australia become a Distributor?

Yes, our content can be integrated by platforms operating outside of Australia, subject to the terms of the Distribution License Agreement and our Terms of Use.

We also translate profiles into 11 different languages, so your business can cater to international travellers in their preferred language, enhancing accessibility and engagement across various global markets.

Ineligible businesses

Certain entities are not eligible to join as distributors. This is to ensure that the platform maintains its focus on promoting tourism-related services and experiences.

The following types of businesses or organisations are generally not eligible to become distributors:

Non-Tourism Related Businesses: Companies that do not have a direct connection to the tourism industry or do not provide services that cater specifically to tourists.

Wholesalers and Inbound Tour Operators: Businesses that primarily focus on selling tourism products or services in bulk to other service providers rather than directly to consumers are usually not eligible. We prioritise entities that engage directly with the end consumer.

Businesses with a Primary Focus on Non-Leisure Markets: Companies that primarily serve business travellers or other non-leisure markets, without a significant focus on leisure tourism, may not be eligible.

Non-Compliant Entities: Businesses that do not comply with local tourism regulations, lack proper licensing, or fail to meet our quality standards would not be eligible to join as distributors.

These exclusions ensure that our network of distributors remains focused on enhancing the visibility and promotion of tourism-related services, contributing effectively to the overall tourism experience in Australia.
