How to Search for a Profile

This article explains how Administrators can search for a Profile within our platform.

Updated over a week ago

As an Administrator, you have several options to search for profiles in the system. You can find profiles by name, number, product ID, category, classification, status, location, or the owning organisation.

How to Search for Profiles in the Platform

The following steps are intended to guide Administrators in searching for specific profiles within our platform.

  1. Log In: Log in to ATDW

  2. Admin: In the main menu, select 'Admin' (shown below)

3. Search: In the sub-menu that appears, click on 'Search' (shown below)

4. Search Fields: Administrators can conduct targeted searches using several key fields. For precise searches, input the Profile Name, Profile Number, or Product ID. For broader searches, filter by Category, Classification, Status, State, Region, Area, or Organisation.

5. Narrow Search if needed: Adjust multiple filters as needed—searches can be narrowed progressively by combining these options.

6. Search: Once all criteria are set, click the 'SEARCH' button (shown below).

7. Review the results: If you need to reset your criteria, click the 'RESET button to start over.

Search Options

Search by Profile Name, Profile Number or Product ID

Use the dropdown menu next to the search bar at the top (shown below) to enter part or all of a profile’s name, its assigned number, or the specific Product ID. This method suits direct queries when tracking an individual profile or responding to an operator request.

Search by Profile Category

Refine results by choosing a particular category—such as Accommodation, Tour, or Event (shown below). This is helpful for monitoring all profiles within a segment or assessing category-wide compliance.

Search by Classification

Use classifications (shown below) to further refine profiles according to type (e.g. apartments, B&Bs).

Search by Profile Status

Filter by profile status, including active, pending, expired, or in review (See: Profile Status-What it means). This is best used for workflow checks, resolving distribution issues, or managing renewal cycles.

Search by State, Region, and Area

Locate profiles geographically—start with a State, then narrow by Region or Area. This functionality supports local marketing efforts and regional audits.

Search by Owning Organisation Name or Number

For profiles managed by specific organisations, enter the organisation’s name or number to retrieve all related records (shown below) and click 'Find Organisation'. The matching Organisation/s will appear below the text field. Select the relevant option.

Best Practice Search Tips

  • Combine filters for maximum precision—such as searching by State, Category, and Status.

  • Confirm you’ve selected the correct Region or Area for geographically linked profiles.

  • Use the 'Find Organisation' function to quickly isolate profiles managed under a single ABN or company name.

  • Regularly review search outputs for inactive or expired profiles and action renewals to maintain data integrity across the network.
