How do I reset my password on the AWTS mobile app?

Reset a forgotten Australian Wildlife Traceability System (AWTS) password from the mobile app login screen.

If you have forgotten your password for the Australian Wildlife Traceability System (AWTS) mobile app, you can request a password reset from the login screen. AWTS sends a reset link to your registered email address so you can set a new password.

Request a password reset

To reset your password from the AWTS mobile app login screen:

  1. Open the AWTS mobile app and tap Login.

  2. Enter your registered email address in the Enter email field, then tap CONTINUE.

  3. On the password screen, tap Forgot password.

  4. Follow the on-screen instructions to request the reset.

A password reset email is sent to your registered email address, and a confirmation message asks you to check your email.

Set a new password and log in

Open the reset email and follow its link to set a new password. Then log in with the new password:

  1. Open the AWTS mobile app and tap Login.

  2. Enter your email in the Enter email field and tap CONTINUE.

  3. Enter your new password and tap Login.

You are signed in and taken to the AWTS Home screen.

If you cannot reset your password in the app

If Forgot password does not work, or you cannot finish the reset on your device, you can reset your password in a web browser instead:

  1. Go to https://app.originsnext.com/password-reset on any phone, tablet or computer.

  2. Enter the email address registered to your AWTS account in the Enter email field.

  3. Select Send Link.

  4. Open the reset email and follow its link to set a new password.

  5. Return to the AWTS mobile app and log in with your new password.

For the standard login steps, see How do I log in to the AWTS mobile app?

Note: If you do not receive the reset email, check your spam or junk folder and confirm you entered the email address registered to your AWTS account. If you still cannot reset your password, contact your system administrator or OriginsNext Support.
