What is Connor in Manage Mode?
Connor has two sides: a concierge that answers questions about how to use the platform, drawn from the FIFTH DOMAIN knowledge base, and a BI agent that answers questions about your organisationâs data, such as participation, completion, scoring and team performance.
Both go through the same chat panel. There is nothing to switch between, as Connor works out which is needed from the question you ask. On reporting questions you will see the BI agent named in the progress detail while it works.
đ Note: Connor is scoped to the organisation and permissions of the account you are signed in with. It never exposes data you do not already have access to through the platform.
đ Note: Connor is different from Connor Coach, the assistant embedded in challenges to help participants work through them. Connor Coach is set per challenge by the competition organiser and is covered in its own article.
How to Access Connor
Switch to Manage mode [1], then click the Connor launcher [2] in the bottom-left corner to open the chat panel.
Reporting questions take longer to answer than platform questions. While Connor works, it tells you what it is doing [3].

What You Can Ask Connor
How to do something on the platform:
E.g. âHow do I create a new competition?â or âHow do I add participants in bulk?â
About participation and engagement:
E.g. âHow many participants have registered for this competition?â
About progress and scoring:
E.g. âWho are the top ten scorers right now?â or âWhatâs the overall completion rate?â
For comparison over time:
E.g. âHow does participation in this competition compare with the last one?â
Reading an Answer
A reporting answer opens with a scope note [1] saying what the figures cover. Connor then pulls out the headline numbers as summary cards [2], and where a comparison helps, draws a chart [3].

Below that, Connor lays the full figures out as a table [1] which you can download [2] or expand with Show all [3], followed by a short insight [4] on what stands out. Where a question could be read more than one way, Connor tells you which scope it applied [6] and how to widen it.

đ Note: By default Connor answers about your organisationâs affiliated members, and excludes people who took part in your events without being affiliated to your organisation. The scope note on the answer tells you how to include them.
Things to Keep in Mind
Connor is read-only. It will not create, edit or delete competitions, challenges, users or teams.
Connor only answers within your role and permissions, and never crosses into another organisationâs data.
Connor does not replace the platformâs reports. For formal exports and detailed breakdowns, use the reporting features.
AI responses may make mistakes. Confirm any figure against the relevant report before it goes into a client report or briefing.
