  • A unit description

  • Key Inquiry Question

  • A sequence of lessons and assessments

  • An expandable list of curriculum outcomes

  • And a Vocab list

What’s in an Inquisitive lesson?

A lesson overview page shows you the lesson at a glance including:

  • Thumbnails to preview lesson activities

  • Any included stimulus links and optional printables

  • A lesson overview

  • Outcomes Covered at the lesson level

  • A Focus Question

  • A Teaching and Learning Sequence

How is a lesson structured?

  • Each lesson begins with a focus question linking to the curriculum outcome

  • A scaffolded sequence of learning activities addresses the outcomes through multiple modes of engagement

  • High-quality, engaging stimulus is embedded at relevant points in the learning

  • Each activity is differentiated as a green circle for core content, blue square for deeper learning or black diamond for extra challenging questions. This inbuilt differentiation allows you to use our lesson materials adaptably with the whole class, smaller groups or individuals.

How do I share lesson activities with my students?

Share lesson materials with students by clicking the Bookmark icon to select lesson pages and stimulus resources. These are made available on your dedicated Class To Do page.
