New Digital Lesson Slides
Updated over 3 months ago

How are the digital lesson slides different from the PDFs I have been teaching from?

This exciting in-browser experience facilitates step-by-step engagement with activities, allowing teachers to focus student attention on one task at a time. Each activity can be expanded and delved into, promoting deeper investigation and exploration.

Stimuli are seamlessly integrated into the content flow, creating a more immersive and interactive learning experience and eliminating the need to toggle between tabs. This format is particularly well-suited for in-class presentations, enabling collaborative class discussions.

How do I download and print the lessons and assessments?

The lesson and assessment activities can be downloaded on the lesson and assessment pages or when presenting the activities using the download button. This will open a pop-up and allow you to select which activities you would like to download.

What if my internet is unreliable?

If your internet is unreliable, you can reduce your reliance on a stable connection by downloading the lessons and assessments as a PDF.

Can Students Access these New Activities?

Students will continue to be able to view and print activities and stimuli that have been assigned to them via Class To Do.

How do I use Class To Do?

Simply click on the bookmark icon on the activities or the stimulus and share the Class To Do code with your students.

Later this year we will introduce the ability for students to respond to the activities online. Follow us on Facebook or Instagram for updates and our latest releases.

Where can I find the Teaching and Learning Sequence?

The Teaching and Learning Sequence is now even easier to access. In addition to being visible on the lesson page, it’s also available while you are viewing the activities.

Simply click on the top right-hand corner, and a dropdown will appear, providing access to the Teaching and Learning Sequence.

As each activity is contained within its own slide, you'll find the relevant notes in the drawer for easy reference.

Additionally, there's a toggle at the top that allows you to effortlessly switch between activities and their associated teaching and learning notes.

How do I use the existing PDFs instead?

We understand that you might have already planned to teach, bookmarked, annotated or completed the existing lessons and assessments. All this is still available! This will sit under a section called “Previous Version” section.

We encourage you to view the digital lesson slides and assessments as they are most optimal for in-class learning.

Can teachers or students respond to the lessons online?

Not yet! We are working very hard to allow teachers and students to respond to the lessons on Inquisitive.com.
