Inquisitive's Automarking & Markbook works in unison to support you in assessing students' knowledge, understanding and scientific skills.
What is Automarking?
Available in the Assignments tab. When AI marking is enabled, it uses Inquisitive's own rubrics and criteria to evaluate open-ended responses and provide a suggested score and feedback. It is fully editable and designed to support teacher judgement, not replace it.
What is Markbook?
Available in both the Assignments and Markbook tabs. All marks flow directly into the Markbook, giving teachers a clear view of student performance for confident, evidence-based reporting.
The Markbook tab shows how your class is tracking across every subject in one place. From there, drill down by subject, then by unit, down to individual student answers.
No need to open each assignment separately, start with a whole-class view and click down to the detail you need.
