Can I change my profile Category?

While you can change your Category; it will result in a loss of your existing content. To avoid losing valuable information, we suggest creating a new profile in the correct category first, transferring your information across and then disabling the incorrect profile. (See: What to do if you have the wrong profile Category).

What to do if profile Category is incorrect

To avoid losing your valuable information, we suggest creating a new profile first, copying and pasting your information across before disabling your old profile. Here's how to do it.

  1. Log In: Log in to ATDW

  2. Profiles: In the main menu, select 'PROFILES'. This will open your Profile Dashboard.

  3. Add New Profile: Click the 'Add New Profile' button at the top to create a new profile.

  4. Select Category: Select the correct category for your Profile.

  5. Copy Profile Information: Copy and paste the information from your old profile to your new profile.

TIP: We recommend opening your old profile in a new window, so you can copy and paste each field directly across.

  6. Submit for Review: Once you have completed your new profile, submit it for review.

  7. Disable Incorrect Profile: Now, you will need to request for incorrect profile to be disabled. This can be done from the:

Dashboard - Find the profile within the list, and click the corresponding 'More' button, then 'Request to Disable'

Profile Summary - Click the 'More' button at the top of the Summary, then 'Disable Profile'.

Profile Builder - Click the 'More' button at the top, then 'Disable Profile'.

Why will I lose my information if I change my Category?

When you create a profile, you'll be prompted to select one of 11 product categories.

The category you choose will determine the structure and type of information you provide in your profile. For instance, a Food & Drink business will need to provide details like the type of cuisine and meal prices, while an Event organiser will be asked for venue and ticket price information. For this reason, when you change your category, you will also lose any data you've uploaded.
