This user guide contains information on how participants can join a competition via a event URL.
Participants can enter a competition by being invited to the competition by admins/managers. However, admins/managers may also choose to send out competition event URLs - these are links unique to a specific competition, which, if clicked, will take participants to the competition as a participant.
These links, if distributed by the admins/managers of a competition, provide a way for participants to enter a competition without having to be manually invited. This allows a wider network of participants to be able to take part in a competition.
This feature is only applicable to individual-based competitions. Competition URLs do not exist for team-based competitions, as the flow for entering teams into a competition varies significantly.
Clicking a Competition Event URL as a Registered Participant
The following section details how to enter a competition via its event URL as a registered participant.
First, click the competition link or paste it in your preferred web browser. Once the page loads, you will be taken to the FifthDomain platform Log In page. Enter the email address [1] and password [2] for your current account. Once you have done so, click Login [3].
Once you have logged into your account, you will be directed straight to the competition overview page, where you will be able to view the Competition Overview [1], containing competition rules, support access details, and tips and tricks. Once you are ready to enter the competition (if it is available for entry), click Enter Competition [2].

Clicking a Competition Event URL as a Non-Registered Participant
The following section details how to enter a competition via its event URL if you are not an already registered participant.
First, click the competition link or paste it in your preferred web browser. Once the page loads, you will be taken to the FifthDomain platform Log In page. As you do not have a FifthDomain account, click Register Instead [1] to create a new FifthDomain account.
Once you click Register Instead, you will be directed to the Create Account modal. Enter a Full Name [1], Email Address [2] and Password [3]. You will need to Confirm Password [4] before creating an account.
You may select the check box [1] if you wish to receive information about FifthDomain products. Click Next [2] once you are ready to proceed with the next steps in account creation.
Next, select your age via the Age Range [1] dropdown and Press Next [2] to proceed.
Select the check boxes [1] to agree to FifthDomain Privacy and Terms - this is a compulsory part of creating an account. Once completed, click Agree [2] to finalise creation of your account.

Once you create a new account, you will be prompted to Log In.
Clicking a Competition Event URL as an Admin/Manager
If you Log In to an Admin/Manager account after clicking from a competition event URL, you will be directed to the Admin/Manager view of the platform. To participate in a competition via the event URL, you will need to log in or register with a participant account.
