Changes to Class Access Across Schools
We’ve strengthened our security settings to ensure student access and school data are only available to teachers from the same school (with the exception of Casual Teacher access).
As a result, you will no longer be able to access classes linked to a different school account. When creating a new class, please make sure your account is linked to the correct school.
You can check or update this in your Profile or on the Edit Class page for each class.
How class sharing now works:
Only School Account Teachers/Admins can own a class and share it:
with other teachers at the same school
with teachers from Casual or Homeschool schools
Individual Teachers and teachers from Casual or Homeschool schools cannot share classes.
Individual Teachers can have classes shared with them by a School Account Teacher/Admin from the same school.
Classes cannot be shared across different schools, unless the receiving teacher belongs to a Casual or Homeschool school.
Any classes from schools you’re no longer associated with will automatically appear under ‘Other school classes’ on your Manage Class page when you change schools. You’ll be able to duplicate your other schools class planners and lessons, but not students or annotations
