Why has my profile been removed?

Profiles may be unpublished or removed for several reasons. Understanding these helps ensure your profile remains visible to travellers.

Common Reasons for Removal or Disabling Profiles

Profiles may be removed or disabled on our platform for a range of reasons related to account activity, compliance, or user requests. Understanding these reasons can help you identify what has happened to your profile and what steps you need to take next.

Your profile has expired

  • In majority of cases, if your profile hasn’t been updated within a 12-month period, or not renewed within the renewal period, it will expire. This is different for Events, where the profile will expire after the event has taken place (See: When will my Event Profile be Unpublished or Removed).

  • What to do: Log in and check your dashboard. If your profile appears, simply make an update and submit it for review to reactivate. See: How to Renew an Expired Profile for details.

User Request to Archive

  • A user on the account has requested that the profile be disabled.

  • What to do: If this was done in error or you’d like the profile reinstated, please contact us to discuss reactivating your profile.

Administrator Action

  • An administrator has disabled the profile on your behalf, usually to maintain accuracy and quality across the platform. If this is the case, you will generally be notified of this action.

  • What to do: If you believe this was done in error or you’d like the profile reinstated, please contact us to discuss reactivating your profile.

Abandoned Profile

  • If you created a profile and did not send it for review within four weeks of creation, it will be disabled. You will receive a reminder email if two weeks have passed, encouraging you to login and finish your profile.

  • What to do: The profile will no longer be visible on your Dashboard, but if you need more time to complete your profile, please contact us to have it reinstated.

Non-Compliance

  • If your profile does not meet eligibility requirements or content guidelines, it may be disabled.

  • What to do: If you need further clarification, contact us for details on the issue and guidance on updating your profile to meet requirements.
