Our recruitment process for Corrections Officers is designed to not only help us assess how you might work in a prison environment, but also to help you learn more about the role along the way.

After you've applied, the process is made up of four key stages.

  1. Initial screening - this involves a phone call with our team to meet you and provide the opportunity for you to ask any questions.

  2. Assessing suitability - the next phase involves assessing your suitability and alignment with some of the key skills we look for in Corrections Officers.

  3. Health, safety and team fit - this phase is about helping you to better understand our environment and ensuring you'll be able to safely carry out the role.

  4. Final checks - these are some pre-employment checks, such as reference checks and police vetting.
