📖 Note: This article provides detailed information for all Users on how to access courses assigned to them.

Viewing Courses you are invited to

On your homepage, you will find list of all events that are assigned to you in the Assigned Events table. Courses on FifthDomain platform are represented by a Green icon such as the image above in this table.

Attempting a Course

To attempt a course that’s been assigned to you, click Enter on the Course row, to enter the course you want to start.

Upon clicking enter, you will enter the course and land on the Course Overview page.

The course overview page displays information including Course Progress [1], Course Details [2] and Course Modules [3].

If you’d like to see more details about a module, you can click the Module [1] you’d like to view and it will open like an accordion. You’ll then be able to see each part of the module (eg. PDF, markdown, lab or quiz) and click Open [2] to attempt that part. You also have the option to Mark as Complete [3] for PDFs, Markdowns and Labs.

Once you’ve opened a module part, you can navigate to other parts or modules by using the Course Sidebar [1]. You can also use the Previous [2] or Next [3] arrows to move one page backwards or forwards.

Once you’ve marked a part as complete, it will turn green and be marked as complete, as shown below. You can still open the part even after it’s marked as complete.

Accessing Video in a course

A video will be available as a module part within a course.

Upon opening, you will see the viewport showing the linked video in the platform.

After having watched the video, make sure to click Mark Complete, to ensure that the system correctly records your progress. Your progress is reflected in your learning profile.

Leaving a Course in Progress

If you don’t finish a course in one sitting, you can return at a later point and continue where you left off.

⚠️ Be Aware: If you're completing a quiz, do not leave without submitting it first.

If you're completing a lab, make sure to shutdown any VMs you are using so that you can launch them again when you return to the course.
