📖 Note: This article provides information on how those with Manage Events or View Insights permissions can view and edit an assessment.
Viewing Assessments
You view all assessments by clicking the Assessments button, as shown in the image below.
To view assessments in your organisation, simply click on Assessments[1] tab in the Events table on your homepage. You can type in key words for the assessment you are searching by clicking on the Search[2] icon, or use table preferences such as filter[3] to search for assessments.
After you see the desired assessment in the table rows, click on the Row action[4], and click View[5].
Inside an Assessment
Once inside an assessment, you can click on the assessment’s Tabs to navigate between the different pages, as shown in the image below.
The Overview page provides a summary of how participants are engaging with and performing in your assessment. The Assessment Overview Insights provides more information about this page.
The Insights page lets you access detailed insights for individual participants or teams. The Participant Insights article provides more information about this page.
The Participants page (or Teams page for team-based assessments) lets you add and remove participants or teams from the assessment. The Managing Participants article provides more information on using this page.
The Details tab lets you view and edit the assessment’s details, whilst the Tasks page lets you view and edit the tasks within the assessment.
The Challenges tab lets you view and edit the challenges within the assessment.
Editing an Assessment - Before Participants have Started the Assessment
You can edit an assessment by clicking on the tab that you wish to edit.
You can edit the assessment's details by clicking on the Edit [2] button next to the field you wish to edit. You will then be able to make changes to the relevant field.
📖 Note: only users with Manage Training permission can edit assessments.
To save your changes, click the Save [1] button next to the changes you wish to save. You can also discard any changes by clicking the Cancel [2] button.
Editing Challenges
You can edit the challenges within an assessment by clicking on the Challnges [1] tab from inside an assessment. From here, you can click the Edit[2] button to edit the challnges in the assessment.
From here, you can add a task to the assessment by clicking on the Checkbox [1] next to that task. You can select all tasks shown on the table by clicking on the Checkbox [2] in the top left-hand corner of the table. You can search for a task by clicking on the Search [3] icon.
You can save your changes by clicking on the Save [4] button. You can also cancel your changes by clicking on the Cancel [5] button.
📖 Note: All labs in lab-based challenges have a duration of 2 hours. Participants can extend their lab instances as many times as they require, resetting their lab timers to 2 hours and retaining progress made. Participants can also reset their labs as needed, which will deploy a new lab instance and erase all progress.
Editing an Assessment after Participants have Started, or the Assessment has Ended
You will be only be able to edit the assessment’s end date and time if the following have not happened:
A Participant has started attempting the assessment, or
The end date for the assessment has passed.
You can edit the end date and time by clicking on the Edit button next to the field, as shown in the image below.
