π Note: This article provides information on how managers can view competition scoreboards.
Navigating to the Scoreboard Tab
To view the manager-side scoreboard for a competition, click the Scoreboard tab from inside the competition, as shown in the image below.
Viewing the Score Progression Section
The Score Progression [1] is shown as a chart on the Scoreboard page. The Dropdown Menu [2] allows you to choose between viewing the score progression for the last 24 hours or for the whole competition. Flags that are captured by an individual or team are represented by pivots in the chart.
When you hover over a Line on the Graph, you can see details about the captured flag, including the name of the individual or team, the number of points obtained and what time the challenge was solved.
Viewing the Leaderboard Section
The leaderboard [1] is located directly under the Score Progression chart. The leaderboard shows all individuals/teams in the competition, ranked by points. The Flags [2] column displays the number of flags that the individual/team has captured. The First Bloods [3] column displays the number of challenges that the individual/team was the first to solve. The Success Rate [4] column displays the percentage of flag submission attempts made by the individual/team that were successful.
You can navigate between the pages on the table by clicking the Arrow [1] buttons at the bottom of the table, or change how many individuals/teams are displayed by selecting an option from the Rows [2] dropdown menu.
Viewing Event Tags on the Leaderboard
If the competition you are viewing has event tags, there will be an additional column on the leaderboard called Event Tags. This column shows the number of event tags each individual/team in the competition has applied.
What are Event Tags?
Event tags are competition-specific tags which competition administrators can optionally create for the purpose of better identifying and sorting participants/teams for initiatives such as prizes and other recognition activities.
In individual-based competitions, participants can apply event tags to themselves in their competition waiting bay and overview page. In team-based competitions, team members can apply event tags to their team in their competition waiting bay and overview page.
Once individuals/teams apply event tags, competition administrators will be able to see them on the admin scoreboard (as described above). Participants/teams cannot see tags their competitors have applied. Application of event tags is optional for participants/teams.
Lastly, note that the creation and application of event tags only lasts in the context of specific competitions. Event tags don't carry on to other events, and will not be visible anywhere outside of the competition where they are created and applied.
If you hover over a specific row in the Event Tags column, you will get a tooltip showing exactly which event tags have been applied to the individual/team being hovered over.
If event tags have been created for the competition, but a participant/team you are hovering has not applied any event tags, you will get a tooltip showing that they have not applied any event tags.
Note that these tooltips will only appear if event tags have been created for the competition being viewed. If no event tags have been created, or if all event tags for the competition are deleted, participant aliases/team names will not show any tooltips when hovered over.
Even though the full list of applied event tags on a participant/team only appears on hover via tooltip, you can still use the filter function to sort and find a list of all participants/teams who have a certain tag applied.
