πŸ“– Note: This article explains what a General Member of a FifthDomain team can see and do on the Team Management tab on their team's profile.

Choosing a Team to View as a General Member

To view your teams, click the My Teams button on the righthand corner of your screen.

Once you are on the My Teams page, you will be able to see all the teams you are currently part of. Each team shown on your My Teams page will display your role type for the team. Two role types are possible: Team Manager and General Member. For teams you are a Team Manager for, you will see a blue Team Manager chip. You will see a grey General Member chip on teams you are a General Member for.

Click View for a team that you have the General Member role type for. This will open up a modal from which you can view the team.

Navigating Team Profiles

Team profiles consist of two tabs. These are the Team Dashboard [1] and the Team Management [2] tabs. When you open a team's profile, by default you will land on the Team Dashboard tab, where both Team Managers and General Members can view your team's skill and performance-related information, and enter competitions your team is participating in. Click here for details on how to navigate your Team Dashboard. Click the Team Management tab to perform management-related activities for your team.

Understanding Sections in the Team Management Tab

As a General Member of a team, your Team Management tab will consists of two sections. These are the Current Team Members [1] and the Team Details [2] sections.

Viewing Current Team Members

The Current Team Members section shows a list of all members within your team. You can view the alias [1] for each team member, their registration status [2] on the platform and their role type [3] on the team.

What are registration statuses?

Any user on the platform can have one of two registration statuses. These are Registered [1], represented by a green chip, meaning that the user has created an account on the FifthDomain platform, and Invited [2], represented by a grey chip, meaning that they have been invited to the platform via email, but have not yet created an account for themselves.

What are role types in a team?

Participants within teams can have one of two role types within their team. These are Team Managers [1], represented by a blue chip, and General Members [2], represented by a grey chip. Team Managers can view and manage their teams, whereas General Members can only view their teams.

All team members can participate in competitions equally - role types make no difference in the context of a competition event. Role types only differentiate between the possible actions that team members can perform in terms of managing a team (outside the context of a competition).

Leaving a Team

Under the Actions column on the Team Members tab, you will be able to see a Leave button. Click this button to leave your team. If you choose to leave your team, you will no longer be able to view the team or participate in competitions with it. You will no longer be able to access the team, even if you were its original creator.

πŸ“– Note: If you want to join a team again after leaving it, you will need to be invited to the team by a Team Manager. Click here if you want to read more about joining teams.

❗️ Warning: When team members leave or are removed from a team, they will be taken off its roster, and any data or contributions they made to that team will be lost. If they rejoin the same team later, the system will treat them as new members. As a result, they will be unable to retrieve any of their previous contributions to the team.

Viewing Team Details

As a General Member, the second section you can see on the Team Management tab is the Team Details tab. In this section, you can view your Team Name [1] and Team Avatar file [2]. Click the avatar file to view it in a new browser tab.
