Crafting an event profile on our platform is key to attracting attendees and promoting your event effectively. By clearly detailing the event’s features, schedule, and any special highlights, you can generate excitement and boost attendance.
How to Create an Event Profile
This guide will walk you through the steps to create a dynamic event profile that captures the essence of your event.
Before You Begin
Before starting, it’s helpful to have all your information and content ready. (See: Before you Begin)
In some instances, namely when your event takes place at different venues or on different dates - you may need to create more than one Event Profile. To determine if you need multiple Event Profiles, see: How many Event Profiles do I need.

Frequently Asked Questions
When will my event profile be unpublished or removed?
Event profiles are automatically unpublished when your event has wrapped up or if the information becomes outdated.
For Once-Only events, the profile is automatically taken down once the event is over.
If your event is marked as not confirmed, due to pending permits or dates and you haven’t updated it once everything is locked in, it might also be unpublished until you confirm the details. (See: Confirm Event)
Keeping your event profile up to date is key to ensuring it stays live and visible to potential attendees - so be sure to update those details when needed.
How to structure a Major Event Profile
Are you organising a major event with an extensive program of smaller events? Or perhaps a Touring concert, with multiple events in the pipeline? For multi-event programs like this, we recommend you create a main umbrella Profile to represent the overall event, along with separate Profiles for each individual event within the program.
The most efficient way to do this might be to complete the umbrella profile first, then create clones for the smaller events and update the details as needed.
